Hello, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 13th June.  The week begins with two important changes. Firstly Mercury returns to one of its two home zones of Gemini, after  ending a sixty seven day passage through the sign of Taurus. This change can be truly enlivening, joining as it does, at least for much of the week, the combination of the Sun and Venus, in Gemini too.

There can be a real sense of sparkle, and some unexpected but very pleasant social invitations and encounters. This is going to come about because of the Sun and Venus, angling back towards the unpredictable energies of Uranus, but in a way which can be really good for us. This is definitely a case of a change being as good as a rest.

However Monday also sees Neptune, the planet of dreams, artistry and spirituality, slam on the brakes and go into a 5 1/2 month retrograde. It continues its T-square with Jupiter and Saturn and its going to be important to maintain any structures that we remain utterly factual in our approach. Any fantastical ideas do need to be challenged, as to whether they are sustainable. This is because Neptune can dissolve structures, but the way it will do so can be quite insidious, so look out for any “erosion” that is not so obvious.

Mind, this is also week, when with Mars in Scorpio is in a more obtuse angle to the Sun and Venus and the lighter, and the frothier energy that the Gemini inner planets are generating, can be challenged by the rawer, basic and passionate vibe that Mars generates in this sector.

As the week draws to a close Venus also transits into Cancer, and when people have this placement in their Natal or birth charts, they often can be extraordinarily beautiful. And this is an opportunity for us to all benefit over the following 28 days the magic that Cancer can generate in its combination with Venus. However, it's all about nurturing, and the ideas that have been electrified of late in Gemini have a platform here to be channelled in a more soothing and caring way.
