Hullo, I'm Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 9th October 2017. The week begins with the Sun and Mercury continuing in the sign of Libra. Like last week, for the first three days, the Sun continues to clash with Pluto. And it could be we can encounter something in our world's where we feel our sense of justice or fairness is challenged by the demands of work, bosses, rules and regulations, governmental departments etc. Power battles are also entirely possible, but equally, we can try to find ways to balance our need to be more assertive against a need to be more supportive.

Perhaps this weeks most obvious standout development is the arrival of Jupiter, into Scorpio on Wednesday and it's true that this does hold rich promise, and especially in terms of deepening our understanding of our motivations, and the areas of our life that we would like to transform positively. But the chances are this is going to happen through embracing a greater amount of self awareness and knowledge about what makes us tick at a deeper level. Scorpio is of course very intense zodiac sign, but it is also the sector of finance, business, and highly committed relationships, and these can all be blessed by the energies of Jupiter for the next year. This will become obvious as soon as the last week of this month. However it's important to understand with Jupiter, that it's enrichment doesn't come automatically and without any effort from ourselves. The more we can be proactive in the areas that Jupiter is supporting, the more it can spring greater growth and sometimes strokes of luck in our direction.

On Friday this week, there is also a Quarter Moon in the sign of Cancer. This suggests that our feelings around any kind of relationship could run quite close to the surface. But fortunately by Saturday, Venus returns to one of its two home zones of Libra, and this is a marvellous opportunity for us all to rekindle all sorts of interactions with others but in a more diplomatic, harmonious and constructive way.
