Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 12th November. Venus is a major player this week, for despite being in retrograde until Thursday she does forge a fantastic link with Mars, but is also opposed by the unpredictable energies of Uranus. With Mercury still in a square with the dreamy energies of Neptune, the reality of situations can still be hard to gauge. However in a relationship which is going well, a sense of enthusiasm, wonderment, and embracing variety and spontaneity can be great ways to reinvigorate a tie.

Wednesday's Quarter Moon occurs in Aquarius, and finally Mars moves out of Aquarius on Friday into Pisces. The transit through the Water Bearer started in the middle of May, and apart from one month when he retrograded back into Capricorn, this long journey has certainly given a stimulus to the values of Aquarius, if at times in a more forceful mode of expression. This Quarter Moon once more asked us to see the good in situations, and to rise above politics, which for sure isn't always easy to do.

Still, just as Venus ends its retrograde and goes direct on Friday (though it won't come out of shadow, in other words the point where the retrograde began until 17 December 2018) Mercury goes into a retrograde on Saturday which will last a 5th December. At first this is in Sagittarius, where he is in detriment, and the square with Neptune will continue until the middle of next week, before being repeated because of the retrograde in the last week of November. The inference here is the Communications are going to require even more care, for the potential for confusion, distortion, even deception continues to be high. But equally the Sagittarius Pisces axis that this comes from can create a much higher level of idealism, which in itself can be good, but the practical application needs to work too.
