Hello, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 25th August 2014.

The week begins with a New Moon in the sign of Virgo, on Monday. For all of us this can be a good time to think about the details of life and grapple with practicalities and look to get under the surface of issues and tune all our attentions in a constructive, workable way. Health diet and fitness issues can also come into focus. If elements of your life have become less than organized this is a great time to try to get things into a more ordered pattern. If you're looking for work the Virgo New Moon provides a platform in the next month, which encourages finding a job where you would gain personal satisfaction. Roles that focus on the service sector can be particularly influenced and positively, by this.

The first half of the week also sees Venus continue to sparkle magnetically with Uranus which can lead to some unexpected connections and perhaps some brief but intense and flirty encounters. Yet Venus features for the rest of the week in a less than positive way in a right angle with both Mars, its partner in love, and also Saturn the planet of restriction. If there are any troubled relationships in your world this particular aspect could see them come to a close. All ties will require certain amount of diplomacy, and even when that's invested not everyone may necessarily take what we mean at face value.

Another manifestation of Mars is conjunction with Saturn which runs all through the week, is the ability to focus on one narrow area of activity with a great deal of energy and commitment. However this aspect can also lead to sudden outbursts of frustration, or low self-esteem. If you imagine that Mars is the accelerator, Saturn is the handbrake. So when they combine like this it's rather like trying to drive a car with the handbrake on. The chances are you not going to crash but equally you may not go as fast as you were truly like and that's where the frustration can come in.

Another big aspect dominating this week is the opposition between the Sun and Neptune which runs from Tuesday through to Sunday. This too can be a depleting influence because if we think the Sun is at the heart of everything we try to do, its core drive can be muted by the wateriness that Neptune presents in its home zone of Pisces. The impact here is less obvious as if we can be very subtly undermined by the points of view or attitudes of others. It may be best to steer clear of anyone who damns us with faint praise, is constantly judgemental, clingy or very needy.  For the full inside track, please watch the FREE video or visit my site... PatrickArundell.com
