Hello, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 23rd November 2015. The week begins with a greater emphasis on the sign of Sagittarius. Ordinarily at this time of year, this ushers in the perfect sociable backdrop to support the upcoming Christmas festivities. This year will be uniquely different. Why? Well, it is really down to the role of Saturn, newly re-established back in the sign of the Archer itself. And it kicks this week off splendidly, supporting the planet of desire, Mars, which is located still in Libra. With these two co-operating, anything which is well thought through, balanced and takes into account the impact on others, has a great chance of becoming more established.

However, the celestial fly in the ointment comes from Mercury being “suppressed” by Saturn all week and because the Sun and the Full Moon are affected by him too. Saturn in Sagittarius is essentially about knowledge, and this combination can see any gaps in ours being unrelentingly scrutinized. This can also be a time when legalities can feature more prominently. If you're involved in any kind of agreement, the chances are you will be held accountable for that, should you wish to make any changes.

Furthermore, the Sun starts to link with Saturn to and by Wednesday's Full Moon in Gemini, all sorts of communications and conversations can take on a much more serious vibe than would otherwise be the case at this time of year. If you are planning travel, do so with one eye on what can go awry.

Of course, Saturn has been involved in a tense right angle with Neptune, all month, and that reaches its peak this week too. And as I mentioned before with the Sun and Mercury, and also the Full Moon also connecting to Saturn, they in turn are affected by Neptune. Neptune can nibble away at structures, but it's also a planet which can cause confusion, and so clarity is going to be a priceless commodity this week when quite a bit of frustration can boil over at times and especially where subtle tactics are used to block progress.

Venus in its home zone in Libra, also remains in opposition with the unpredictable energies of Uranus. This suggests that romance, affections of all kinds and all sorts of interactions, can have quite a random quality. So as much as Saturn may be trying to suppress a certain amount of free speech, Venus will charmingly try to get round any blockages, though impulses can be very strong.
