Wouldn't it be amazing if we all had friends that answered the phone every time we called... no matter the time of day or how much we wailed about our ongoing problems?  Okay, even half the time would be good and keep us happy.  These types of friends are hard to find these days, with everyone having so much going on.
 
If an Aquarius is one of the people you call at 3 am, you have probably found that it is a hit or miss.  If they are awake and in the mood, they will take the call, if they are awake and not in the mood, they will turn that phone off... pronto. Moodiness is a trait that many Aquarius posses, much more so than other zodiac signs.  Yes, everyone is moody at some time. As an Aries I can tell you it's very common for me to look at the phone and think, “are you kidding me” even at 11pm. A very good friend by day--by night it's another story.
 
Many think that trait is selfish, but it is not.  It is just an Aquarius needing their own space and time.  Mix that with a ruling sign of Uranus and you are lucky if an Aquarius has any patience at all these days. It's been very hard on them lately...changing roles with parents, partners & siblings. Seeking out their place in life NOW while wanting to leave a lasting impression on the world forever. A lot of thinking going on in that Aquarius mind – for sure.
 
Routine is extremely important to an Aquarius. Without it they feel scattered.  Even if they are running around all day like a maniac, doing loads of different things, knowing they are hitting the pillow at 10 pm keeps them sane.  We all need that comfort level, but an Aquarius needs it a little bit more. Just by letting them do these little things (early bedtime), you are assured that they will be much more happy and willing to listen, work with you or have a long chat.  If they don't get their down time, you won't be hearing from them or be too happy sitting across the dinner table, as their attitude will not be 'friendly'.
 
Any type of change in routine will throw an Aquarius into a spin.  Sometimes a good spin... sometimes not so good.  Being mindful of their needs will ensure you a happier life as usually it is something very small that makes them content.  Throw a few compliments their way and man -- will your life be easier!
 
I can write for hours about how giving, loving and smart Aquarius born people are.... but you and they already know how great they are by now. Their minds are full of fantasy and are open to listening without judgment. That's one of the reasons they get so many calls from people with problems or for a chat that will brighten someone's spirits.  Don't take it personally if your call is unanswered or a coffee date canceled. They probably didn't get enough sleep last night...
