Hullo, I'm Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 5th March 2018. As this week begins, so the backdrop of last week's Full Moon is still very much to the fore. This has the potential to create a lack of drive, a sense of uncertainty, and a drop-off of motivation. Our attention spans may also seem shorter and less sharp than usual. Part of the reason for this is that the Sun continues to combine with Neptune through to the middle of the week, and whilst this can make us more empathetic, and sensitive to the needs of others, we may also find that certain individuals can baffle us with their approach.

Still, things start to develop in a rather different way from Tuesday, when Mercury moves into the sign of Aries. This is going to create a gush of brightness, and when he is joined by Venus on Wednesday, this combination conjunction between the two, can definitely bring a lighter brighter and more vibrant energy to bear. Yet this is not going to be a complete panacea, for both are going to be challenged over the weekend by the more restrictive energies of Saturn. Lighter and more pleasurable pursuits or ideas, may not necessarily achieve instant approval from anyone older, or more authoritative in our situations.

However there is one standout energy this week which really can help to propel us forward in a more dynamic way. It begins on Tuesday and it involves Uranus, the planet of surprises that has been located full-time in the sign of Aries since 2011, and this is forging a fantastic angle to Mars the ruler of Aries, right through to the end of the week. If there is something that we need to shake off, whether it's the lethargy of this Full Moon or our own inhibitions, this is certainly a planetary influence can be fantastic and give us the confidence to be much more daring and free-spirited.

However it's undeniable that Friday is a big day this week, for Jupiter - the planet of growth - goes into a retrograde, and there is a Quarter Moon in the sign that Jupiter influences Sagittarius. This suggests the although we can be much more on the front foot, what we don't want to be doing is letting issues that are not worthy to much attention to flexes from our mission. In fact the Sun's angle to Pluto in the last three days of this week is one of the most influential of planetary aspects of all. It is truly about change, but especially where patience and applied effort, is melded to a more flexible and open approach.
