Hullo, I'm Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 19th March 2018. As this week begins, the Sun is squaring with Mars, something which goes on until the week's end. Later on Tuesday sees the Vernal Equinox, the start of the Astrological New year, and of course, the Sun returns to Aries for the first time in eleven months. This can be a time of new beginnings, new optimism, and new possibilities. But of course there has been quite an emphasis on the sign of Aries recently anyway but this is going to turbocharge things. If there is any new project, plan, and or stream we want to get off the ground, this is a fine time to do so. We can also re-energise anything that is ongoing that is important to us. Of course Mars is the ruling planet of Aries, so it is ironic that they are in something of a battle this week. The key here therefore, is not to be too impulsive, and to understand that whilst Mars is exalted in the sign of Capricorn, it could add a degree of impatience which will not be helpful.

With Mercury beginning a retrograde on Friday also in Aries, one which will last a mid-April, which will not unravel completely until early May and with a Quarter Moon in Cancer on Saturday, we can see that this is a week where progress is possible, but it does need to be thought through carefully, and if we act without proper planning or forethought, it is unlikely to see things work out as well as we'd like.
