Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 5th November. This week sees one of the most intense planetary interactions for some time. A New Moon in Scorpio offers the chance to make some meaningful changes in our lives, and its angle to the nebulous Neptune suggest we need to tune into our instincts to guide our moves best of all.

But Neptune forges a less than positive angle to Mercury all through this week, and clarity can come at a premium, particularly with Mercury going into a retrograde as the week winds down. In any written or spoken communication, we need to try to be as crystal-clear as possible. We may encounter someone who is less than transparent or truthful.

Wednesday also sees Uranus return to the sign of Aries which it vacated in mid May. He will continue to occupy the sign of the Ram through to March 6th next year, and at the end of this week forges an inspiring angle to Mars the ruler of Aries. Spontaneous and instinctive moves could just come off really well, especially if we take a fearless approach. Often being so bold does not work out so we need to be mindful of this.

Perhaps the biggest news story this week is Jupiter's arrival back in the sign of Sagittarius that it guides for the first time in twelve years. Over the next thirteen months there will be an extra focus on international affairs, philosophy, travel, history and higher knowledge. This can be a time to expand consciousness and awareness, by openness to new ideas, and those which have shaped culture for millennium.

From Thursday to Sunday the Sun angles superbly to Pluto. This is an aspect of change par excellence, and whether we choose some of the evolution occurs, or it seems to be enforced upon us, ultimately some deeper level within us alterations do need to happen in order for us to grow and evolve. Any changes we to make the are for the good of all have a much greater chance to work out well, those that are driven by an individual agenda, less so.

As mentioned previously Mercury goes into a retrograde in Sagittarius on Saturday, one which is going to last three weeks and from which we will emerge on Christmas Eve. So despite the arrival of Jupiter, I do feel that there's a very real chance of travel, distribution, international strife, politics, and potentially even financial turmoil, due to the interdependency of all countries upon one another, the the modern age demands.
