Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 11th February 2019. All this week Neptune continues to forge a brilliant angle to Saturn. If we consider Saturn is very much about structures, and Neptune is very much about dissolving them, how does this combination work to our benefit? Well, I think partly it will because both planets are located in their home signs. Secondly for creative people a combination between the dreamy energies of Neptune and the more structural ones of Saturn can actually be a really helpful link. I guess this is the ultimate form and function. So if you are working on something that does require little bit of inspiration but also requires a practical application, this can be very supportive.

From Monday to Wednesday Mars is in a combination with Uranus, in the sign of Aries and both are angling very positively to the Sun in Aquarius and with Uranus being the personal planet of Aquarius and its modern ruler this combination can create a lot of potential for more innovative, or even more spontaneous moves. In fact, this urges us to march to the sound of our own drum rather than following convention. So if you have had an unusual idea circulating on the back of your mind, this can be the perfect time to deploy it.

Now ironically on the other side of the heavens the North Node, the most karmic point of the heavens, is urging us to embrace the benefits of home, family and emotion, in its journey through the sign of Cancer, but the combination of Mars and Uranus actually jars quite badly with the North Node, so not all change is necessarily going to be without some disruption, and if we have been someone who has been inclined to follow the traditions within the family situation or even in our personal approach to life in general, them there could be some kind of break out, breakaway, or breakthrough.

Mars moves on Thursday, on Valentine's Day into Taurus, for a six week occupation, this does bring and earthier and more sensual dimension to bear, which obviously could be rather nice in view of the day that this occurs upon. But Mars in Taurus is very much about embracing and appreciating creature comforts, sensuality, good food, good wine, money etc. so if any of these calls out to us, we may find ourselves a little bit more preoccupied with them.

This week also has another Taurus influence from the Quarter Moon which occurs on Tuesday, so as much as we may want to enjoy those things that to give us a real sense of pleasure, what the Sun is saying is to maintain a balanced approach to material strands and not to take shortcuts with our values, and especially not around friendships or group situations.

Ironically the ruler of Taurus, Venus goes alongside the rather stern energies of Saturn as this week draws to a close. For those Valentine's Day couples fortunate enough to be in a very committed relationship, this may be an influence which simply brings a slightly more serious atmosphere to bear but if any relationship is seriously wobbly, along with the influence on the North node from Uranus and Mars Saturn can apply its brake in quite a firm way, and this may in any tie which is truly come to the end of its life be a time of separation.

Fortunately Jupiter the planet of, well, fortune, forges an excellent semi-sextile with Pluto, which is conducive to exploring new ideas in relationship to business, or seeking advice from a trusted advisor.
