Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 18th February 2019.  All week Mercury and Venus forge a gorgeous alliance. Mercury is about communication, and Venus is about attraction. And with Venus in Capricorn, we can attract more worldly success by utilising their interaction. This may mean some bright and positive encounters through work, or more in a social context. The Sun moves into Pisces join with Mercury and Neptune on Tuesday. Pisces is the 12th zodiac sign and is said to be influenced by an accumulation of all the other eleven zodiac sign energies. Pisces is mutable, and of course has a water element, so adapts and is flexible and sensitive to what it encounters.

But on the same day, Tuesday, there is a Super Moon in the sign of Virgo, in fact the largest of the whole year. This sees the Moon 14% bigger than when it is at its furthest point away from Earth. Ordinarily this combination would urge us to be more conscious of the emotional and psychological elements of our health. But because Mars forges a superb conduit between the two positions, I think the sensitivity and imagination of Pisces can be used to create something that is more tangible and lasting, due to the Earth position of both Mars in Taurus and the Moon in Virgo. So an appreciation of what works, what can be sustained, and is guided by precision and accuracy can be added to the sensory powers of the Sun in Pisces.

However all week Uranus in Aries continues to square up to the North Node located in Cancer. This Point of Destiny or the karmic direction encouraging us all to embrace a more sensitive and nurturing way of living began in the sign of the Crab last November 7th. Uranus however in its last degrees of Aries, before it returns to Taurus on 6th March, and here is very much “rebel central”, and I think issues that have been simmering on the back burner particularly around family and emotional or domestic matters could come into the open, perhaps explosively on the back of this.

Venus also goes on to conjoin Pluto, in the last half of the week. Venus’s alluring attractiveness is amped up by the potency of Pluto. Any offer we receive, be it personal, romantic or professional, may be very tempting indeed but the trick for us all is to divine what the motive is. Even the offer itself, or a temptation to take it.
