Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 22nd April 2019. The Sun continues to combine with Uranus, pushing us to shake up something that perhaps has become rather staid. But it is also going to be important to make sure that we make clear decisions, and the reason for this is that Mars is in a really difficult right angle with Neptune this week, which can be particularly distorting.

Mars is very much to do with our desire and in the sign of Gemini also our ideas and mode of expression. Neptune in Pisces however is a simmering hard to quantify influence that can both spiritually enlightening but also drain energy away. In this right angle with Mars something that seems very appealing may have some kind of hidden catch or agenda. So if we are looking to buy big-ticket item, hook up with someone we really like or make a decision based on information, it very important that our responses are factually led rather than based purely on our instincts.

Wednesday also sees Pluto go into a retrograde, one which will last for 5 1/2 months, and although he does continue in the sign of Capricorn through this, and is broadly in conjunction with Saturn, which is also in retrograde, just suggest that anything to do with our goals and ambitions, they not necessarily go forwards in quite the way we hope. The potential for things to be reformed, phased out, or rebuilt is very strong indeed. Still, Saturday and Sunday does see Mercury forge a wonderful link with Mars, with Venus now in Aries, there is the potential for bright and breezy exchanges, it's just choosing the right ones.
