Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 29th April 2019. This week sees Saturn the planet of structure, discipline, order but also obstacles and limitations, slam on the brakes and go into a 5 1/2 month retrograde. If this kind of rings a bell, it's because the other higher octave planet of Pluto went into a retrograde last week and the two are still closely bound together in the sign of Capricorn.

Because Capricorn is very much to do with orthodoxy, ambition, status, work, property, and in some ways our parents, these can be the areas that come predominantly into view. But the truth is the combination between these two planets has been very evident for some time, and the point towards systems and structures that have long dominated being challenged by buried resentments, even rebellions and the chances are we going to continue to see the status quo being rocked in this way. Old power, will cling on tightly, whereas new power can be demonstrated by direct action, social media, and collectivity.

However, this week does also see a lovely New Moon in the sign of Taurus, which asks us to appreciate the things that are meaningful in our worlds and which give us a sense of stability, and the foundations from which we can sustain ourselves. The enjoyment of good food and wine, as always to the fore with Taurus energy, but with Mars continuing to tangle with Neptune at the start of the week, this still can be some background distortion and misunderstandings which we need to fight off.
