Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 21st October 2019. This week begins with a Quarter Moon in Cancer, angling sharply to the Sun in Libra. With the North Node, or the Point of Destiny, the emotional pull of the heavens, also in Cancer but squaring Mars, itself in Libra, the logic of this sign competes with the emotionalism of the Crab.

Defensiveness should be avoided where possible. Cancer is a beautiful zodiac sign with so many qualities, but this double right angle or square of Water v Air, and with Mars in Libra, in detriment, the urgency to achieve balance in situations needs to be tempered by the potential for over-sensitivity.

Still, more water IS on its way, with the arrival of the Sun in Scorpio moving in on Wednesday at 18.20 BST. This gives us the chance to grapple with any kind of profound changes we want to make in our lives. This could also include more practical financial factors. Excitement will be created over the weekend however, when the Sun goes face to face with the unpredictable Uranus. Being both Fixed zodiac signs, if we try to resist any changes that need to occur, it could create friction and tension.

Furthermore  with Mars switching to a square with Saturn in the last half of the week, where there are delays and hold ups, or we encounter overbearing and unfair people, this too could also create some irritation. It reminds me of a quote by the French philosopher Jean de La Fontaine "Patience and the passage of time do more than strength and fury".  And we might all try to bear this in the back of our minds.

Pleasingly however, the different patterns and cycles in the sky also see an outstanding link between Jupiter and Pluto, where enterprise linked to wisdom and responsibility can be rewarded.
