Hello, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 18th May 2020. The week begins with the Sun in a wonderful and enabling to Jupiter. If the circumstances were different I think we'd all be celebrating this particular influence because this is very much to do with positivity and growth. And with both located as they are in Earth signs, a chance to take a more adventurous attitude to our resources. But with Jupiter in retrograde, and the general Covid environment, what we can do to convert this helpfully for us, is to make the most of what we have. That may be through appreciating all the benefits that already exist in our lives, including any creature comforts or equally been conscious of those who are perhaps less fortunate than us.

However, Neptune continues its mysterious right angle with the reversing Pisces. For those confined in a live in relationship with a partner, where ordinarily you do not spend much time with one another, this could be quite testing. Perhaps you'll be finding the weak spots in one another, in a way that hasn't happened before. Those couples more contentedly settled, can enjoy nature, crafting, the arts and music or take in a good film. For those seeking love, being sure of the other person's intentions and status is advisable.

Helpfully from Tuesday through to Saturday Mars forges a fab link to Uranus and listening to our hunches especially around any new, novel  or unique ideas can say is make progress.

Uranus also features midweek, when the Moon passes over and this can create a desire for change, or some restlessness can occur. If you find yourself moving the furniture around it really will be a surprise! Also the Sun powers its way into Gemini the third sign at the Zodiac, with an element of Air, a Mutable quality and ruled by Mercury.

Indeed Thursday sees Mercury start to combine with Venus, both in Gemini, and despite Venus's retrograde the chances are this can create a speeding up of interactions, news of new applications and possible medical breakthroughs. However with Mercury now joining in with the square with Neptune, some confusion is possible, or someone could be rather dishonest.

Friday sees the New Moon in Gemini but this is anchored by stabilising energies of Saturn, so over the next month if we can carefully measure what we say, and plan our time and activities well, this can be a very constructive lunation.
