Happy Chinese New Year!

According to the Chinese zodiac, January 31 marks the end of the Year of the Snake and the beginning of the Year of the Horse. 2014 is considered a year of high energy and decisive action which can reward us with quick victories. It's an excellent year for travel, unexpected adventures, and perhaps a surprise romance or two.

The Sign of the Horse

If you were born in 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, or 2014, you were born under the sign of the horse.

Personality and traits of people born in Horse Year:
Horses are social creatures and the life of the party. They are incredibly loyal and trustworthy, preferring to be surrounded by family and friends. They usually have a large circle of acquaintances but are far too independent to rely on their friends and rarely listen to advice.

Highly creative, talented,  patient, energetic and intuitive, horse people make great leaders and often seem to know what others are thinking.
However, when frustrations arise they can also be stubborn just like a horse. If pushed too far they can shift to impatience and lose their temper. They can also be impulsive as a horse, sometimes falling short of their goals simply by not thinking things through. Fortunately they have the ability to make the best of a bad situation and these optimistic creatures are not susceptible to feelings of failure for long.

A contradiction in terms, horse people can be endearing and infuriating at the same time. But the noble and free spirited Horse was blessed with good humour and charm making it difficult to be angry with them for long!

Compatibility:
Horses are most compatible with  the tiger, dog and sheep.
