Hello, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 26th May 2014.  The week begins with the continuing sparkling alliance between Venus and Mercury. Now, that is going to go on for all of this week, but both planets move Zodiac signs, with Venus shifting into Taurus on Wednesday, and Mercury into Cancer on Thursday.


However from Tuesday through to the end of the week there is a stunning alliance between the Sun and Mars. This is going to help to reinvigorate all of us and especially create more drive and determination to achieve our goals. Extra energy is available from this.

Also from Monday to Wednesday Mercury Trine's up with the North Node, and Venus opposes it. The suggestion here is that a relationship issue if handled right could turn out very positively - if someone is prepared to take the initiative and make the first move.

The New Moon on Wednesday in Gemini asks us to blend the bubbliness of this sign, with the more emotional qualities of the Moon. This is not necessarily such an easy thing to do. Gemini energy can be more intellectual, but equally this combination can help us to speak out about the things we feel strongly about. Yet with Neptune forging a square a certain amount of confusion can creep in. So knowing our bases and being factual is going to be very important in the following month, when discussing anything personal or more sensitive.

In the second half of the week as Venus and Mercury relocate to their new homes, this is an opportunity to bring a more feeling influence to bear. Yet Mercury can be subjective in Cancer so we need to be sure that what we think we are hearing, is really that. But certainly Venus in Taurus is a much more sensual influence, and this is one of its two home zones, so it could be a bit of a diet breaker over the next 28 days, but see us all enjoy the good things in life and love, to the full.
